TL;DR: Communication is KEY! Tell us that the curry is going to take a long time & that we may order it if we are ok with that, or we could choose a different entree. Problem. Solved. Let me start off by saying that our experience tonight is NOT the norm. We usually have a pleasant dinner that goes smoothly. However, I felt the need to share our experience tonight because it was ridiculous. That sad thing is, the issue could have been resolved instantly, before anything ever even arose. My husband ordered green curry, I ordered soup & pad see yew. We chatted for awhile when we realized it had been nearly 20 minutes & I didn't have my soup. Then, we started paying attention, & noticed that tables that had arrived after us were receiving their food. My soup arrived & the waitress said, "sorry, we're behind." We were not in a hurry, so we weren't troubled, & we figured that our entrees would surely be right behind, as everyone else had their food. That was not the case. Finally, my entree arrived, but the waitress only had a plate of rice for my husband. She stated that two cooks called in. We were beginning to become frustrated, but we were polite. How much longer could it be, we thought. Long. The owner eventually came to our area, but began apologizing to a different couple, who had food (and had sat down long after we had arrived). I spoke up, & said, "sir, I believe you're supposed to be speaking to us." He turned around and said that there was a problem with the curry, but that it would be out soon. After we had been there an hour, my husband went up to the owner & asked him to cancel the green curry. We finished up my entree, & went to checkout. We were very upset. The waitress approached us & gave us the green curry to go. She stated that there was no charge for the curry. Darn right. She mentioned that the lady who does the curry was not there tonight. My husband, flabbergasted, stated that if she had simply mentioned this as he was ordering, he would have gladly ordered something else. My husband gave her a tip for my entree & we left, extremely frustrated.

I love this restaurant. Their fried rice and steak salad can't be beat. Friendly service even when stressed and overwhelmed.

Thai Cafe is a great spot hidden in the Holiday Manor shopping center. You can't go wrong with the Pad Thai or any other entrée, and the Thai Tea is delicious. If you like spicy foods, I recommend going for a spice level of 4. Plus, it helps that the owners are personable and super friendly.

The worst food and unhygienic serving in the most awful ambience, uncleaned silverware, they said they dont have panang curry on menu but they can make, it turns out to be a red curry and chicken satte was covered in some sour sauce that tasted yuk..... if you have ever eaten thai this is not the place that serves thai.
